Rargh. 
A few years ago, when I was 16 I drew a portrait of Kate Winslet as Marianne from Sense & Sensibility (another great Jane Austen novel), and my parents lovingly framed it for all to see. These days when I am back home, I look at it and cringe - I am thinking of emailing this to my mum. (Yes, it's not that great, but I'm getting better. Perhaps I shall ask her to stick it on the fridge?)
